HandCent SMS is a complete and customizable messaging app for Android

If you like to customize (and we mean, if you REALLY like to do it) your SMS/MMS and the messaging from social network, this is your app. HandCent SMS is probably one of the most complete messaging apps for Android. Those who love changing even the smallest details of its Android will love it.

The main features are the themes, block spam (blacklist), animated greetings, SMS Popup with quick text, individual contact notification, social network messages in your inbox, security lock options... and many other. Actually these are just the main features, there are many more options. Even If you don't like too much the personalizing features like the skins, themes and notifications sounds, Handcent SMS is still really useful, specially regarding the Group sending options, the Backup/restore, the Speech-to-text or the (and we really like this last), the SMS Popup. A good option to switch from default messaging manager to a real customizing one.

HandcentSMS is the only Android app developed by handcent_admin, an emerging developer. Besides, they have developed a lot of language packages, themes, skins and many others add-ons.
