Drag Racing: Bike Edition

This time though, we're talking about cars but bikes. Gameplay is quite simple: you race against another bike in a short straight line race. You have control over three issues: accelerator, gears and the button to active the N2O. You have to manage to launch bettter than you opponent and to gearshift properly in order to overtake it tenths of seconds. Activate the N2O whenever you want, but take into account that it runs out quickly.

There are different game modes. Quick Race: play against computer. By winning races you'll get cash that you can use to upgrade your bike regarding engine, turbo, intake, nitro, weight or wheels. Career, which is quite different than its previous version. You have to beat levels from around the World, increasing complexity, of course. You have to beat first to unlock next. There's a Training mode also with three levels of difficulty (beginner, amateur and pro) and three type of track (1/2, 1/4, 1/8 mile). Finally, the most interesting (at least for us) game mode: Online. Like in the car edition, you can play "Face to Face". However, it includes 2 new sub-modes: Tournament and unranked (riders battle & bet race).

Graphics when playing are quite similar, we didn't notice huge enhancements. Interface and layout on menus has been put upside down though. We have to say that we like more the car edition menus, although perhaps is because we got used to.

In summary, the action of the car edition with new game modes and set in a new interface. Recommendable.
